Quality Policy

As a result of the nature of our business it is essential that our deliverables meet all dictated industry standards.  Hence our policy that “MARRS CONSULTS shallt always execute all contracts:  supplies, deliverables and provide services and support in accordance with industry standards”. 

The company’s Quality Policy is summarized as follows:-

  • -MARRS CONSULTS shall execute all contracts, supplies, deliverables, and provide services and support in accordance with industry standard and special requirements of the client;
  • -All MARRS CONSULTS staff shall get it right the first time at the right time and all the time;
  • -Support is much more than fixing a computer; it has to do with providing a solution which satisfies the customer in a professional manner; and
  • -MARRS CONSULTS staff shall strive towards creating and maintaining Happy Customers and understand that this quality position is the ultimate corporate goal.

Notwithstanding the above, our quality plans are basically tailored towards ensuring that our clients are highly satisfied in terms of product quality, delivery, support services, problem resolution, and timely escalation with minimal cost.

Our entire Customers’ Services Engineers, Sales/Marketing and Administration Staff are and will be constantly trained on the need to establish and maintain excellent customer relationship as well as high quality service delivery.

HEALTY, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT & SECURITY

MC recognizes the importance of safety as an essential part of running an efficient operation in order to achieve high quality performance in its professional services to its clients.

Therefore, safety is integrated into all daily activities involving our entire operation.  It is the responsibility of management to make adequate provision for creating a safe working environment and safe work methods, as well as providing correct equipment and tools for the use of MC’s staff.

It is the policy of MARRS CONSULTS to conduct its activities in such a way that takes into account the safety of persons, property, and environment that may be affected directly or indirectly by its activities.

In implementing this policy, the company complies with the requirements of the relevant legislations and appropriate manner, measures for safeguarding persons, property and the environment.

Accordingly, the company and its employees recognize the importance of self-discipline and make it their duty to exercise due care to prevent injury to themselves and to other persons as well as avoid losses to the company and its clients.

HEALTH POLICY

We provide herewith, relevant information on the welfare of our staff as the health of MC staff is paramount.  As a result, every staff has health facility that covers the nuclear family with subject to maximum of four children.  The company makes provision for first aid box to treat minor injuries.  Staff leave is treated with seriousness.  Every staff must go on his annual leave.  The staff are also encouraged to do medical check-ups on themselves apart from the ones done on employment.

  • Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in any MC’s work area by both staff of MC and clients.

  • Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Alcohol and drug abuse are enforced by peer group pressure and not allowed in any MC’s work area by both the staff of MC’s and its clients.

  • Medical Fitness

Staff will continue to be encouraged to attend pre-and post leave medical examinations for fitness and early detection/prevention of ailments and high blood pressure related diseases.

Staff are required to undergo medical exams and submit a certificate of fitness at the commencement of their employment.

SAFETY

It is the policy of MC not to compromise on matter relating to security and safety not only of persons but of the equipment we work with, the equipment we sell, and the environment where we work.  To guarantee maximum security and safe work environment within our places of work MC has laid down policies that must be observed by all staff as well as Client’s staff.

The following facilities have been put in place

  • Insurance:
  • All equipment are comprehensively insured against damage, theft, and fire.
  • Supernumerary Police:  MARRS CONSULTS enjoys the service of supernumerary policemen in our offices.

Identification:  Every staff  in the office wears his/her identification badges. 

Security gadgets are provided and anti-burglary proof and iron protections are also erected at appropriate points.

To further ensure safety, every staff is issued with a safety handbook.  The handbook specifies safety conduct for staff to follow.  The safety book is reviewed and updated at regular intervals.

Drivers are not to exceed the specified speed limit and are strictly advised to observe all safety rules including the use of safety belts.

Safety cloths, shoes and other gears are provided and staff are made to always wear the appropriate gears for all jobs.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

In terms of environmental friendliness, MARRS CONSULTS strictly enforces the following:-

  • MC’s staff shall take all reasonable precautions to protect the environment during the performance of their work.  The responsibility shall include but not limited to the prevention of nuisance to any third party and pollution caused by tools and equipment as well as the protection of wild life, rivers, roads, bridges and neighboring property.
  • MC’s staff shall comply with and enforce all client’s environmental regulations and guidelines when working for and in the premises of the client;
  • MC’s staff must operate in such a way as to reduce waste.  The waste generated in is such operations as photocopying; ink cartridges, batteries and cables should be disposed of in accordance with the procedures recommended by the manufactures;
MC’s staff shall report any environmental incidents to the Safety Officer and the third party safety officer when appropriate.
